On May 1, 2019, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners voted to extend the geological agriculture (GeoAg) food desert program with a $100,000 budget to continue the GeoAg program in Fulton County in 2019. The 2019 GeoAg program takes the best practices of the 2018 GeoAg pilot and expands the program to tour 10-libraries from June until October on Saturdays and to teach advanced GeoAg topics at Oak Hill Child, Adolescent and Family Center on Mondays. Fulton County residents can also expect to see GeoAg pop up displays and information tables at various events throughout the county through the end of 2019.
